MarketingMate AI is designed to help small businesses create marketing content and plan campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you use our website, app and related services.
MarketingMate AI helps users generate marketing campaigns, social posts, email newsletters, POS/signage copy, product bundles, campaign calendars and performance notes. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
Name, email address and password managed by our authentication provider (Supabase). We do not store plain-text passwords.
Business profile information
Business name, business type, market/country, products/services, target customers, brand preferences and marketing goals that you provide during onboarding or in settings.
Generated content
Campaign ideas, social posts, emails, signage copy, product bundles, calendars, performance notes and saved content that you create or save within the app.
Usage data
Generation counts, saved content counts, plan usage and feature usage to manage subscription limits.
Payment and subscription information
Subscription status and billing events handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.
Technical data
Browser and device information, IP address if collected by our hosting or analytics provider, logs and cookies.
Communication data
Emails sent through Resend, including password reset and verification events.

4. AI-Generated Content and User Inputs
MarketingMate AI may process the prompts, business details and content you provide in order to generate marketing outputs. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before using it publicly.
Users should avoid entering sensitive personal information unless necessary. AI outputs may need review before publication. MarketingMate AI does not guarantee legal, financial, advertising or compliance accuracy of generated content.
AI generation is powered by OpenAI. Inputs may be processed by OpenAI in accordance with their privacy policy.
5. Payments
Stripe is used to process subscription payments. MarketingMate AI does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may process payment details according to its own privacy policy. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Email & Communications
Resend is used for transactional emails such as email verification, password reset, welcome emails and account notifications. Users may receive service emails necessary for account operation. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails without consent.
7. Data Storage & Processors
We use the following third-party service providers to operate MarketingMate AI:

9. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers needed to operate the app (as listed in Section 7). We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Account and saved content data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion or export of your data. Some transaction records may be retained for legal or accounting reasons even after account deletion.

12. Security
We use Supabase for authentication. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Access to user data is scoped to the authenticated user. We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
MarketingMate AI is not intended for children under 13 or under the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. International Users
Data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using MarketingMate AI, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. Users are responsible for complying with their local business and marketing laws.
15. Changes to This Policy
